Give your wardrobe a new life by recycling and swopping your clothes! Join us at SWOP Party @ Tampines 1, you can barter away the fashion items you bought on impulse which others might find more useful.

HIGHLIGHTS:* Donations from popular fashion brands, including Dorothy Perkins, Topshop, G2000, DIVA, Adidas and Esprit

Admission: $5 (non-refundable), and at least 5 fashion items in good condition

All proceeds will go to Operation Hope Foundation (www.ohf.org.sg), a Singapore based charity organization that helps orphans and the poor through relief and development projects in third world countries.

A token will be issued for every fashion item donated. The items must be in good condition. Participants can use the tokens to exchange for other fashion items at the SWOP party. Every additional item without token will fetch $5 for the charity. Items that are not taken at the end of the session will be donated to Salvation Army.

Swopping is an ethical and environmentally-conscious way of getting new wardrobe by cutting down waste. Most of all, it is for a good cause as all admission fees and unredeemed items will be donated to the charity. Join us for a fun time of swopping and meeting other people!

Happy Father's Day!

I asked Daddy dearest out for Father's Day...asked him where he wanted to go and have dinner...and he was feeling Thai..so we went to Golden Mile, where all d Thai people hangs out and where you can find pure authentic Thai food...

Got Caught in Blackberry Storm!

So, I was one of d lucky people who got to trial Blackberry Storm for a month with unlimited usage of of StarHub’s BlackBerry Premium Data Plan...all of dis at free of charge, sponsored by d good people at Starhub...now I can proudly say it was d best choice I ever made switching over to Starhub...one might say I'm selling out..but really, who in d right mind would hold on to something boring when you can easily change to something with cool and free stuff?..

Anyhooha!

I couldn't go and collect it on d day they have briefing and everything due to work schedule..and got it one week later so I only had three weeks to try...and I also missed out on d briefing part...though Josie was really helpful, it was still hard at first because it was d first time I use a Blackberry...but hey, all I needed was 2-3 days and a few emails to Josie, and I was good to go...for a phone dat doesn't come with an instruction manual, I must say BB storm is one easy phone to configure and get used to...maybe dat's d reason why there wasn't a manual?..

I had difficulty typing at first...but I got used to it really quick..coz I was 24/7 online on my msn and gtalk using BB Storm and what better way to practise typing dan chatting with your friends...I love how I can chit chat with friends when I'm in d bus, when I'm walking home, and even when I'm in d toilet...hahahaha...

d window looks just like how it does on your computer...

almost all chat started with dis dialogue...

friend: hey

me: hey

friend: where are you?

me: in d bus

friend: huh? how come you are online????

me: er...Blackberry? :D

you can also install yahoo messanger, gtalk, aol and Blackberry chats besides msn...

I never got bored of dis part until d day I stopped using d phone..I loved every minute of showing off though d phone was on loan..hehehe..and Bear got interested from all my fb status and being online 24/7, he bought d phone!..

I also love all d applications...flickr, facebook, twitterberry, iCab sg, and many more...if you follow my twitter, you would have noticed I update my twitter more with twitterberry...and d 3.2 Mega pixel camera takes great pics...any moment I wanna share, I just snap and post it to facebook mobile uploads album...it just doesn't get any better...

Oh and of coz, I can read blogs!..dis pic was taken on d way to Sentosa...what? you think d screen is too narrow for your liking?..just tilt it to d side...

Voila! there you have it..a wider screen...doesn't my blog look phat? ;)

and you can read d text clearly as you can see in dis close-up...

And I never have to miss any event or anything again for not checking email online...emails get downloaded to BB in real time...your friends who like to forward useless email might get you in trouble by having to download unimportant data thus finishing up your data usage though..

I've always wanted to be able to stay online 24/7..but thought it was too expensive and I couldn't afford to spend so much just for dat luxury..but now with Starhub's Blackberry Premium Data plan as cheap as $19.90 per month for 1GB of data downloads, anyone can afford to stay connected...if you are a heavy user and you think 1GB is not good enough, you can get unlimited data downloads for $36.38 per month...I think it's pretty affordable...

dis is me glued to my Blackberry at d beach...posting status messages on facebook and twitter to make friends jealous..

You can also catch Live programs on d go with Starhub's cable TV on Mobile..if you are a TV junkie who just can't miss any show for having to be on d move all d time, dis would be your solution...comes with 8 channels to choose from...News to Entertainment to Sports..d only channel I watched is Animax..but I didn't watch TV much on BB as it eats up battery really quick and I needed d batt for more improtant things like reading blogs and updating fb, twitter and chatting...

I wish I was able to make phone calls and see how it works to use it as a phone though...other dan dat, I'm so in love with dis phone...I might even end up getting a data plan and using it for good..though I really really love and haven't got enough of my V9...
